We here at BOBDAISLEY.com and fans all around the world were shocked to find out that Ozzy decided to tamper with 2 of the most renowned rock albums of all time and re-record the music of Bob Daisley & Lee Kerslake on "Blizzard of Oz" & "Diary of a Madman".
It's un-thinkable that someone would even consider it. Would Robert Plant take Jimmy Page off of Zeppelin I & II? What's next? Maybe Ozzy will take Bill Ward & Geezer Butler off of "Black Sabbath" & "Paranoid"? Is there any difference?
It's been quite ridiculous all of these years that Ozzy has tried to avoid giving credit where credit is due. Bob & Lee have only tried to get paid what is rightfully their's & recognition for their considerable contributions to these masterpieces of Rock!
For Ozzy to tarnish these great works and give the fans something less than the originals must have Randy Rhoads turning over in his grave. What can you say except that this is a total lack of respect for the memory of Randy, the fans, and the history of rock -n- roll.
Let's hope that some day soon Ozzy realizes he has more than enough money... & that it's time to "do the right thing".
Ozzy, I'm a life long fan of your music. I've bought all of your music through the years....the 4 tracks, the 8 tracks, the albums, the cassettes, the concerts, the t-shirts, and the CD's.
It's time to make all of this right! Do it for the fans, do it for Randy, and do it because you know it's the right thing to do!
Sincerely,
Darrell
